Clifford, however, proves not to be so naïve after all, and death is always closer by than we think.

Sidney is aged 50+; Clifford is aged 30-50; Myra, Sidney’s wife is aged 40+; Helga, Sidney’s psychic neighbor is 40+; and Porter, Sidney’s lawyer is aged 40+. Actors of all ages are encouraged to audition. Portions of the play will be quite physically challenging for the two male leads. A copy of the script is available for reading ahead of auditions at the Orcas Island Public Library main desk.

Exciting News: PlayFest is Back!

After a few years on hold, we are thrilled to announce the revival of PlayFest, the beloved Actors Theater of Orcas Island production that celebrates our community’s creative talent.

This year, we are reviving some of the best plays of the last several years, ones we’d love to see again. Whether you’re a seasoned actor or director, or a first-timer, PlayFest offers a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a production without a major time commitment. Each play is approximately 10 minutes long, and the process includes just 6-8 rehearsals, so even if you're currently in an ongoing production you may still be able to dive in!
